How Our Network Works for Homeowners

Who you talk to
Claimingcross Roofing is a referral service, so the person you speak with about your roof is an independent local roofing provider. They run their own business. They give you the quote, set the schedule and do the work. Claimingcross Roofing makes the introduction and stays out of the pricing.
What happens on the first conversation
Expect a short chat. The provider will ask about your roof: its age, the shingle type, where you see leaks or damage, and whether a storm was involved. They may ask for photos. Many will offer to visit and measure the roof before giving a written quote.
Providers vary in how quickly they can respond, so request a callback to check provider availability if timing matters. Many providers can respond quickly when a problem is active.
Questions worth asking
A good quote is a document, not a guess. Ask each provider:
- Is the quote in writing, and what does it include?
- What materials and brands are you pricing?
- Does the price cover tear-off, disposal, underlayment and flashing?
- What happens if you find rotted decking?
- Can you show proof of license and insurance where required?
- What is the start window, and how long will the job take?
- How is payment scheduled?
Compare, don't rush
Put two or three written quotes side by side. Look past the bottom line. One quote may cover more of the roof than another. Differences in materials or warranty terms from the manufacturer can explain a gap in price. Ask about anything that looks unclear.
If the damage came from a storm, some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.
You are in control
Talking to a provider does not commit you to anything. You can say no, ask for changes, or get another opinion. Nobody at Claimingcross Roofing will push you toward a signature. Our job is to help you start while the problem is small.
